Is it Time To Muddy the Shallow

10

Because it’s Never Late……

“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking.
It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”
― Albert Einstein

How easy it is to
Find base in shallow waters,
Transparency circumference-ing
Around the ankle,
Feet touching pebbles strewn
around,
Sometimes pushed to the deep
To make space,
For shallow to remain.

Feet dare not travel further.
The fear of mis-stepping….
Not finding base…
How a small step may be
a giant leap,
Mutating self,
Feet leaving comfort,
Bones growing in size,
Unchartered travelled,
Galloping experiences,
Knowledge
Wisdom
Revolutions
Silent

The slow turning
Of a new leaf,
Un-ominously
Carrying the old,
Steady strides,
Faulting only to get up
And find earth
Depth

Soiled feet
Rounded and achieved,
Washes in the shallow,
Mire mixing aqua,
Aqua tickling derma,
Derma nibbled by pisces,

Story of wet insoles
And ignited Kardia*…..

For the world to cry loud—
It is never a wrong time
To muddy the shallow.

*Kardia: Greek for Cardiac

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take,
but by the moments that take our breath away.”
~ Maya Angelou

I do agree with all the ideas you’ve introduced in your post. They’re really convincing and will certainly work. Nonetheless, the posts are too quick for newbies. May just you please extend them a little from next time? Thank you for the post.
