The Grey Trail–Shillong and En Route Cherrapunji, Meghalaya
1
Meghalaya, sanskrit for ‘Abode of Clouds’ is a small state in the north-eastern part of India. Loaded with nature’s resplendence, found even on roadsides has two points of visit–the sleepy town of Shillong, the Capital for the state and Cherrapunji, touted to be wettest place in the world, recording a rainfall of 117777 mm. A visit in the month of April, which is generally a dry season, do leave you parched for rain, but does not leave you dry on its scenic beauty. These are random clicks around the place which I decided to edit in grey to give shape to a new Shillong and Cherrapunji, visualised through my eyes….
